MY WARRANTY
BATTERY AND DRIVE UNIT LIMITED WARRANTY
The High Voltage Battery and Drive Unit in your vehicle are covered for a period of 8 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. The warranty covers battery capacity ≥ 70%.
BASIC VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY
Except listed below, as well as all kinds of fluids, your vehicle is covered for a period of 6 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
OTHER PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY
The LED lamps, tire pressure monitoring module, suspension and ball joints in your vehicle, are covered for a period of 4 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
The multimedia system, shock absorbers, dust boost, bushing or gaskets, release bearing, wheel bearing, PM2.5 tester, AC or DC charging port, USB charging connector in your vehicle are covered for a period of 3 years of 60,000 km, whichever comes first.
The 12V battery in your vehicle is covered for a period of 6 years or 150,000km, whichever comes first, except for Lead Acid battery, which has 1 year or 20,000km 12V battery warranty.
The wearing and consumable parts, including all kinds of filter elements, strainer meshes, button battery, brake pads, tires, wiper blades, bulbs, fuses, generic relays (without integrated control unit), in your vehicle are covered for a period of 6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.

What warranty & maintenance terms do we have?
We recommend an initial service after the first year or 20,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). This service focuses on inspections and adjustments to ensure optimal performance. PHEVs typically require more frequent service intervals as they need maintenance every 10,000 kilometers or one year, whichever comes first.
What does EV and PHEV mean?
EV means Electric Vehicle and PHEV means Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle.
Where do I service my car?
BYD offers a convenient remote service provision! Our expert mobile technicians can come to your place for the purpose of conducting maintenance or repairs on your vehicle. If it is not possible for us to perform remote service, we offer home pick up and delivery once the work is done.
When do I service my car?
All electric vehicles require periodic maintenance every 12 months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), maintenance is required every 10,000 kilometers or 12 months, whichever comes first.
